We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change
the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.
Body Beautiful Network (BBN) is a size-acceptance group for young BBW,
SSBBW, fat, obese, or plus-size women in the DC/MD/VA area! Our goal is to foster friendship, offer support, and unite
big women without focusing on dieting, surgery or other extreme methods of modification. We will discuss issues of fat-acceptance,
life as ample-sized people, and encourage each other in whatever endeavors we seek, be they weight loss or full
love acceptance of who we are the bodies we inhabit. No fad diets, surgeries, etc., will be promoted or encouraged or advocated.
We do, however, promote healthy living physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally. We will be having events exclusively
for us to meet and bond with ane another. Please let us know what types of events you are interested in, what you want
